Challenge of Management

This year Year 12 students from the Samuel Ward Academy participated in the ‘Ardex Challenge of Management Conference at the fantastic venue of Sturmer Hall, thanks to the kindness of Daniel Hannan who allowed us to use the venue free of charge.
The students spent the week at training workshops and work shadowing employers. The week culminated when they had to do a presentation to a panel of employers. Many of the students described their experience to a week on ‘The Apprentice’.
The whole event was kindly sponsored by Ardex but was also well supported by other local employers such as Genzymes, AXA, Volvo and Addenbrokes.
