Before Christmas, over 100 year 7 and 8 students took park in the Harry Potter: A History of Magic exhibition at Haverhill library. The library has been filled with creative and innovative magic inspired artworks for our local community to admire. The students involved took on this task as an additional homework challenge, and worked in their own time to develop their idea. The artworks included both realistic and imaginative drawings, abstract paintings, clay sculptures, mixed media pieces, digital drawings and even a life size Dobby coffin covered in socks! Lucas Cheeseman, Eva Connolly and Lillianna Badenoch were commended for their outstanding ambition, skill and creativity and have been down to the exhibition to have their photograph taken for the Haverhill Echo so keep a look out for this and congratulate these students!
