We wish to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic and ambitious Food teacher to join our team of motivated and successful professionals. Samuel Ward Academy is an ‘outstanding’ school (Ofsted, 2012-13), and is looking for a confident and eager teacher to build upon our GCSE and (A-Level success). 
We are looking for someone who is inspirational and innovative and whose aim is to achieve the best possible outcomes for all our students. Food is a highly successful course at GCSE and A level. The department has a high profile and a mission to secure outstanding outcomes and engender a real passion for the subject; Lessons are lively and interactive.

There will be an opportunity to teach from KS3 through to KS5, in addition to developing and creating schemes of work. We welcome all applications from experienced Food teachers to talented NQTs who will be given ample opportunity to develop their professional skills. A successful NQT applicant will be fully supported in the role, including the provision of a mentor, training opportunities and student intervention support. The successful applicant will aim to help establish and maintain high standards of achievement in Food while continuing the department dynamic approach.
